The Blue Biochar (vast-scale-oceanic-biomass/biochar/biofuel-production) Initative (BBI) will:

 

1) Lower biomass, biochar and biofuel production costs. The combination of biochar and biofuel represents a negative emissions technology which is recommended by the IPCC (WG3). 

 

2) Improve soil, oceanic and atmospheric health through carbon management.

 

3) Promote global economic development and stability.
