If this proposal wins, the award funds would be used to:

 

1) Contact small island nations, who are candidates for the UN Green Climate Fund (GCF), and interest those nations in a collaborative Blue Biochar RD&D effort.

 

2) Build initial relatively small sea-trial prototype. 

 

3) Petition the IPCC (WG3) panel for recognition as a global scale Bio-Energy with Carbon Capture and Sequestration 'BECCS' capable project. Such IPCC recognition may help developing nations gain GCF funding for Blue Biochar operations.
